Your tasks
- You will take responsibility for the further development of our pioneering system solutions and make a significant contribution to increasing our competitiveness by developing products that are designed for optimal production, easy assembly and cost efficiency.
- You will design and improve wood, steel and solar panel products by considering the needs of the market and effectively coordinating the results with our manufacturing and assembly, both internally and externally, and then prepare the product launch
- You support our team and our partner network with your expertise in pre-structural engineering and verifiable calculations.
- You advise our team and our partners at an early stage in the selection of optimal support structures from our modular system.
- You play an active role in the development of internal processes and project standards
- As an ambassador for Sopago, you will represent the company to customers, partners and structural engineers.
Your profile
- Completed engineering studies in civil engineering, ideally with a focus on structural engineering/statics/design or comparable training.
- Several years of professional experience in the field of structural analysis and knowledge of current German construction and design standards and an interest in familiarizing yourself with other European standards.
- You are creative, enjoy solving technical challenges and think outside the box, especially with regard to renewable energies and electromobility.
- Reliability, independent work, quick comprehension and strong communication skills are your strengths.
- Confident handling of Autodesk Fusion 360 and structural analysis programs is an advantage or you are willing to familiarize yourself with these tools.
- MS Office 365 is no stranger to you.
- You have an excellent command of German and English – level C1.
- Even though we mainly travel by train, it is an advantage if you have a class B driver’s license.
